Native American Church Of the Ghost Dancers

Portland, Oregon

The Oregon Charter  is administered by Susumu Alan Sasaki, who was born in a Japanese internment
camp in Idaho during World war II. Many of the internment camps were located on or adjacent
to American Indian reservation lands and were established pursuant to questionable human rights
policies due to race or ethnicity similar to American Indian internment and reservations. Alan
recognizing this at an early age asked to open a charter and provide his knowledge and
experience in business and banking for the Church there and elsewhere. Currently, located in
Portland the Church also does rituals in and about the area.
